Pascal Lauffer was invited to the Paris Blockchain Week Summit to participate in a round table discussion on the subject of asset tokenization with other experts. The day was very rich in discussions and meetings.
On April 16, Pascal Lauffer was invited to the Blockchain Corner organized by The Blockchain Group. Pascal spoke about Onbrane and the application of blockchain in the financial industry to a community passionate about this technology.
Pascal Lauffer and Victor le Barbier were at the Fintech R:Evolution exhibition at Station F. Pascal was invited to pitch Onbrane in front of a jury composed of people involved in the Parisian financial ecosystem.
Pascal was invited to the Fintech Business Day exhibition organised by Finance Innovation at the Palais Brongniart. Accompanied by Arnaud and Alexandra, he presented Onbrane to a panel of investors, key accounts, consulting firms, incubators/accelerators and fintechs.
In addition to being able to share our experience with young fintech companies, we also discussed the evolution of the ecosystem with the various market players.
The Onbrane team being composed of 3 former IÉSEG students, we were able to participate in the IÉSEG 2019 Entrepreneur Competition, organized by the IÉSEG incubator. At the end of this competition, Onbrane won the honorary prize. Congratulations to the other participating projects and thanks to the IÉSEG incubator and the jurors of the competition: Caisse d’Epargne Hauts de France, ZTP, BPI France, IpaidThat, Caisse d’Epargne and IÉSEG NETWORK.
Pascal Lauffer was invited on Wednesday 13 February to the AGEFI to present his vision of blockchain in finance. He debated the subject with Jérome Laurre (managing partner at Degroof Petercam) and Abdoulaye Doucouré (Lead DLT data scientist at Umanis).

Arnaud and Thomas represented Onbrane at the Paris Fintech Forum on 29 and 30 January 2019 in the legendary Paris Bourse, a few days after the weekend of the Fintech Labs. This event, one of the largest in Europe, brings together all the players in the financial sector and is an opportunity to attend exciting conferences and debates on the evolution of the ecosystem, technologies and regulations.
We were at the Palais Brongniart on the weekend of January 26th to 27th for the Fintech Labs event co-organized by Startup Inside, France Fintech and hosted by La Place Fintech. The Fintech Labs is a 50-hour hackathon that connects existing project leaders or startups such as Onbrane, with various profiles of professionals: business, data scientists, UX designers, blockchain experts, etc. This hackathon was an opportunity for the team to work on an additional project that we would like to implement within the platform: a financing simulator. We were helped in this project involving machine learning by Sacha Dumay, a young data scientist who joined our team over the weekend. Finally, we pitched Onbrane and this new internal project to a panel of judges selected for the occasion.
Crypto Day took place on December 7th, 2017 at the Marie Bell Gymnasium Theatre. This event brought together a set of experts. Pascal Lauffer was invited to discuss the impact of the blockchain in finance and the different approaches with a large audience of experts or interested parties. Pascal knows blockchain technology since its beginnings in 2009 and the creation of Bitcoin. Thus, he understood very early the stakes and the disruptive character that the blockchain represents in terms of security, transparency and decentralization.
On 25 May 2018, Banque de France organized a roundtable about the topic: “Financial markets: What innovations for the Paris Financial marketplace? ». After the Governor speech, the first topic was the modernization of the NEU CP market. Pascal Lauffer, CEO of Onbrane, participated in this roundtable with other major market players to present our NEU CP platform and solution for the market.
On June 22, 2018, Arnaud Sales, Product Manager at Onbrane, participated in a panel discussion at the Summer University of the IÉSEG School of Management on the theme “The challenges of the Blockchain for companies”. Together with other experts in the sector, Arnaud Sales explained the potential of the blockchain and its impact on work methods.
